1. Application Scope: Most rigid plastics: ABS, PVC, PC, and similar materials.
2. Performance: Excellent adhesion, high gloss, good scratch and chemical resistance, superior abrasion resistance, and ideal for screen printing.
3. Process Conditions: Stir thoroughly before use. In most cases, the ink can be used directly without dilution. If viscosity adjustment is needed, add an appropriate amount of RS1243 special thinner.
4. Screen Mesh: It is recommended to use 140T high-tension polyester screens. Alternatively, choose between 120T and 165T based on specific requirements.
5. Screen Cleaning: Use S-718 universal screen wash to clean the screens.
6. Curing: Curing speed depends on UV energy and the thickness of the printed ink layer. Laboratory curing energy is 450 mJ.
7. Adhesion: After UV ink is cured and cooled to room temperature, it can be tested with tape. When the substrate is left for 24 hours, adhesion, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance reach optimal levels.
8. Storage: Store at room temperature (20°C) in a sealed black plastic container with a shelf life of six months. Avoid exposure to sunlight and high temperatures. Do not pour unused ink from screens back into the original container.
9. Ink Mixing: PUV series inks can be mixed for color adjustment. However, adding excessive thinner or additives may reduce ink performance. Use primarily RS1243 thinner from our company, with a maximum dilution of 5%. For silver ink, use anti-gelling silver powder and varnish, with a recommended ratio of 1:10 (silver powder to varnish). Excessive silver powder may affect curing and performance.
10. Safety Precautions: Wear disposable gloves during operation to avoid direct skin contact. In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water. Seek medical attention if necessary.
