PS Series (Low-Etching Lens Ink)

1. Suitable Materials: Injection-molded parts, sheets, and acrylics made from various materials such as PS, PC, ABS, acrylic, AS, HIPS, etc.
2. Ink Characteristics: Low odor, medium gloss, vibrant colors, strong coverage, fine ink texture, excellent adhesion, good leveling. When diluted with S-414 thinner, it does not corrode the substrate (burning). It is the optimal choice for materials with no specific requirements for alcohol resistance.
3. Other Parameters:
A. Gloss: Color: 80°; Black: 60°; White: 30°
B. Recommended Screen Mesh: 40T–140T
C. Surface Drying After Printing: 8–15 minutes; Full drying: 24 hours air drying or baking at approximately 65°C for 1 hour.
4. Thinner:
For opaque coating on transparent lenses with PS, PC, AS, or ABS substrates, use S-414 or anti-blushing thinner to prevent substrate corrosion (burning). For printing characters on hard plastic surfaces, use S-3, S-3A, or 783 thinner, which will not affect performance.
5. Precautions:
A. Ensure the printing substrate surface is clean. Stir thoroughly before use and add approximately 10% thinner. Clean screens with S-718 screen wash.
B. For multi-color overprinting, allow the previous color to surface-dry before applying the next color.
C. Do not mix with other inks to avoid compromising print quality.
D. As material properties, processes, molding conditions, and environmental factors may affect quality, conduct a trial test before mass production. Proceed with batch printing only after confirming compliance with quality requirements.
E. Do not seal with plastic bags, apply adhesives, or attach protective films before the ink is fully dried.
F. After use, seal the ink container properly. Keep away from fire sources, store in a well-ventilated, dry, and light-protected environment. Shelf life: one year.
