PDY series (high alcohol-resistant and wear-resistant plastic ink)

Suitable for screen printing and pad printing on the surfaces of various injection-molded rigid plastic products or sheets such as ABS, acrylic, PC, and PVC. It is especially ideal for printing various key characters (e.g., computers, calculators, keyboards, mice, etc.).

This is a medium-drying ink with excellent leveling property and moderate gloss, suitable for both screen printing and pad printing. Compared with ABS and MBS series inks, the PD series offers superior alcohol resistance, gasoline resistance and abrasion resistance, making it more suitable for pad printing.

A. Screen Mesh Compatibility: 77–120T

B. Surface Drying Time: 5–10 minutes by natural evaporation;Standard Testing Time: 48 hours by natural evaporation. 10%–15% of DB-01 curing agent may be added according to different substrates and requirements.Baking Condition: Approx. 65℃ for 30 minutes.

C. Alcohol Resistance: Withstands 100 back-and-forth rubs using 99% ethanol under a load of 500g.Abrasion Resistance: Withstands 100 back-and-forth rubs using a standard eraser under a load of 500g, and 100 rubs using SONY special abrasive eraser.(Note: The above data are test results of screen printing on ABS flat sheets. For different printed substrates and processes, the results shall be subject to customers’ own tests.)

A. Thinners: SL4408 special slow-drying thinner for screen printing; SL4407 medium-drying thinner for pad printing.

B. Screen Wash: S-718

A. The surface of the substrate must be cleaned thoroughly. Stir the ink fully before use, and add 10%–15% of thinner.

B. Do not mix with other inks to avoid reducing the printing quality. In case of screen clogging, clean the screen with S-718 screen wash.

C. For multi-color overprinting, wait 20 minutes for the previous color to surface-dry before printing the next color. Ensure the ink is completely dry before packaging.

D. Material, process, injection molding conditions and environment may affect the printing quality. Therefore, conduct a trial print before mass production and proceed with batch printing only when the quality meets the requirements.

E. Seal the ink tightly after use. Store it away from fire sources and in a dark place. Shelf life: 1 year.
