ABS-A Series (GY-293FC/A) High Alcohol-Resistant and Wear-Resistant Ink

1. Suitable Materials: Suitable for screen printing and pad printing on various injection-molded rigid plastic products or sheet surfaces, such as ABS, acrylic, PC, PVC, AS, etc. Particularly ideal for printing key characters and symbols.

2. Ink Characteristics: Medium-drying ink with good leveling properties and moderate gloss, suitable for both screen printing and pad printing. Compared to the ABS and MBS series, the ABS-A series offers better resistance to alcohol, gasoline, and abrasion, and is more suitable for pad printing.

3. Other Parameters:
A. Screen Compatibility: 77-120T
B. Surface Drying Time: Air drying: 5-10 minutes; Rigorous Testing Time: Air drying for 48 hours; Baking: 60℃-75℃ for 10 minutes.
C. Alcohol Resistance: >500 rubs with 99% ethanol under 500g force; Abrasion Resistance: >150 rubs with ordinary eraser under 500g force; >100 rubs with SONY-specific sand eraser under 500g force. (The above data are based on test results from screen printing on flat ABS sheets. Actual performance may vary depending on substrates and processes, and customers are advised to conduct their own tests.)

4. Thinner Selection:
A. Thinner: Use SL4408 extra slow-drying thinner for screen printing; use SL4407 medium-drying thinner for pad printing.
B. Screen Wash: S-718.

5. Precautions:
A. Ensure the printing substrate surface is clean. Stir the ink thoroughly before use and add approximately 10% thinner.
B. Do not mix with other inks, as this may reduce print quality. Use screen wash to clean clogged screens.
C. For multi-color overprinting, allow the previous color to air dry for at least 20 minutes before applying the next color.
D. As material properties, processes, molding conditions, and environmental factors may affect quality, conduct a trial test before mass production to ensure compliance with requirements.
E. Ensure the ink is fully dried before packaging.
F. Seal the ink container after use, store away from fire sources, and avoid direct light exposure. The shelf life is 1-2 years if the original packaging remains undamaged and properly sealed.
